My favorite coaster in the park. I love everything about this ride, from the theme music playing in the station to the elevator chain lift to all the overbanked turns. The blue train is my favorite. No actual reason behind it. I just like it the best.
Front row is where to sit. The wind in your face is what makes it so great. Millennium Force has a good amount of low-to-the-ground turns and air time hills. The duration and speed of the ride is incredible even 18 years later and makes MF one of the best coasters on earth.
This is a great coaster! It's not an airtime coaster at all, it's a ride of intense sustained positive G forces where the three small moments of airtime feel like a life-saving gasp of air after being underwater. The lift hill is wonderfully fast, but that's almost a downside: you fly right over the top instead of that great moment of hang time I'd love to be able to experience on a tall ride like this. Perhaps a little overrated, it's amazing but undeserving of being voted "best coaster in the world" by so by publications for so many years. Anyway it's still a must-ride for anyone visiting CP.
Fantastic roller coaster! The long ride keeps a balance between positive and negative g's, and never slows down until the final brake run. The coaster, while not perfectly smooth, is not rough at all. One of the best features of the ride is the brief but spectacular view of Lake Erie (sometimes you can see across the lake to Canada on a clear day). The height restriction is a fairly low 4 feet, allowing younger guests to experience their first massive coaster here. The height maximum of 6.5 feet, due to the small and somewhat cramped cars, is a downside if you're very tall. The employees are wonderful and energetic (even at 11:00 at night) and the music in the station, while sometimes annoying, establishes a mood for the coaster. That being said, there is no prominent theming to the ride like in Universal or Disney. It's not the coaster or park's fault, but this is a very popular ride, so the wait times for the ride do get long. They help you pass the time with an Angry Birds- style augmented reality game and allow you to queue in a shorter line for an upcharge, but if you don't want to wait upwards of 1.5 hours on a summer day, make this one of your first stops on your trip early in the morning.
That is what I mean a real thrill coaster!!!!😀😀😀😃😀!!! Bigger version of Intimidator 305 has HEEPS of airtime hills, banked turns and so on etc etc.
